Install Latest Security App Or Risk Denial Of Camp Entry- NYSC Warns Prospective Corps Warns Prospective Corps Members
By Emmanuel Kwada
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a security update directing all prospective corps members to download and install the latest version of its NYSC Security App ahead of their camp registration.
According to the directive, installation of the updated application is mandatory for all corps members, with those who fail to comply warned that they may be denied access into the orientation camp.

The directive requires prospective corps members to download and install the application exclusively through the official NYSC website: here
The scheme also cautioned corps members against downloading the application from unofficial websites or third-party sources, stressing the importance of using only the authorised link to avoid falling victim to fraudulent platforms.
In a related security advisory, corps members were warned never to disclose their Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to anyone, regardless of the circumstances.
The warning underscores the importance of digital security and the need for corps members to protect their personal information while complying with the scheme’s security requirements.
Prospective corps members are therefore advised to install the latest version of the NYSC Security App before reporting to camp to avoid unnecessary delays or difficulties during entry and registration.
The development highlights the scheme’s continued emphasis on strengthening security measures and improving the safety of corps members throughout their national service.
