The governor disclosed that the rationale behind the revival of the squad, was to tackle criminal elements in the state with a view to guaranteeing security of lives and property.

Makinde expressed the commitment when the AIG, Zone 11 Command, Osogbo, Sikiru Akande paid a courtesy visit to him in his office at Agodi, State Secretariat, Ibadan at the weekend.

This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer Zone 11 Command, Osogbo, CSP Ayeni Benjamin.
