Nigeria’s Triumph at the 2025 Grammy Awards: 8 Nominees, 1 Win

Tems, the standout artist of the evening, clinched the award for Best African Music Performance for her heartfelt song “Love Me JeJe.” Her victory is not only a personal achievement but a testament to the growing recognition of Nigerian music on the global stage. In addition to her win, Tems was nominated for Best Global Music Album for “Born in the Wild” and Best R&B Song for “Burning,” highlighting her versatility and appeal across genres.
