Ayo Jamialu Submits APC Form, Eyes Bwari Chairmanship

Ayo Jamialu, an All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has officially submitted his nomination form to contest for the chairmanship of Bwari Area Council under the  party, ahead of the 2025 council elections.

The submission, which took place over the weekend at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, drew excitement from party stakeholders and supporters in Bwari Council Area of the Federal FCT.

Speaking after submitting the form, Jamialu expressed deep appreciation to his supporters for backing his ambition.

“I am riding on their back through the power of their voting card. I appreciate them for sourcing funds for me to actualize my unique and good intention for the Council’s turnaround,” he said.

He promised inclusive governance, pledging to work with all regardless of background.

“With this emerging development and your support, I assure all of you and the electorate that I will drive your vision and mission for prosperous Bwari Area Council for inclusive governance, irrespective of where you come from, religion, sex and political affiliation,” he said.

Jamialu urged delegates and residents of the council to support his candidacy. “Vote for me for massive transformation and liberation as the Renewed Hope Agenda will be implemented with the fear of God, human face and value,” he said.

The aspirant outlined his plans to introduce innovative ideas into local governance. He said he would prioritize agriculture through mechanized farming, taking advantage of the council’s strategic location.

“As a thinker out of the box, I will be injecting fresh developmental ideas into governance,” he added.

On security, Jamialu pledged to address local challenges.

“A collaborative and proactive mechanism will be emplaced to end banditry, farmers and herders clash for a more progressive Bwari Council,” he stated.

He also emphasised education, healthcare, and human capital development as key areas of focus if elected.

Jamialu commended President Bola Tinubu for ongoing reforms in local government administration.

“I commend President Tinubu for the bold reforms through the autonomy granted. My election will catalyse these noble reforms into fruition,” he stated.

Jamialu, widely referred to as “the man of the people,” is seen by many in Bwari as a leading contender in the upcoming chairmanship race.
