Oluwa Dicey Drops Seven-Track Debut EP ‘Old Soldier

Nigerian rising star Oluwa Dicey has released his seven-track debut EP, “OLD SOLDIER IN A BOY”, with the project now available for streaming and download worldwide.

The EP, released on Thursday, across major streaming platforms, explores themes of resilience, battles fought young, survival, faith and growth.

“OLD SOLDIER IN A BOY” is more than music – it’s a story of resilience, battles fought young, survival, faith, and growth. With gritty, cinematic artwork that captures the soul of a boy who has seen war too early, Oluwa Dicey delivers a project that is raw, emotional, and unapologetically real.

The project is led by the focus track, “OLD SOLDIER”, featuring ELIKEE, described as a soul-stirring collaboration that fuses street wisdom with deep emotion.

The EP tracklist comprises “Intro”, “Angeli Mi”, “Old Soldier ft. Elikee – Focus Track”, “Won Le Mi”, “Last War”, “Omo Ologo” and “Lola Sati Ramoni (Acoustic Version)”.

According to the release, each track reveals a different chapter of Dicey’s journey, ranging from spiritual pleas on “Angeli Mi” to vulnerability on “Won Le Mi” and “Last War”.

It added that “Omo Ologo” focuses on gratitude and identity, while the project closes with a stripped, heartfelt rendition of “Lola Sati Ramoni”.

Speaking on the project, Oluwa Dicey says:“This EP is my truth. I’ve lived like an old soldier trapped in a boy’s body – fighting battles people don’t see. This is for everyone who has had to grow up too fast, but still kept their heart.”

“OLD SOLDIER IN A BOY” will be available for streaming and download worldwide from August 27, 2026.

The project carries a Parental Advisory label.
