NASRNASRDA Director Hails Olubaka’s Outstanding Royal Stewardship

An Oka-Akoko–born media practitioner and Director of Media and Corporate Communications at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Felix Ale, has praised the Olubaka of Oka Akoko, Oba Yusuf Adebori Adeleye, describing him as “one of the most outstanding and remarkable royal fathers in human history.”

Ale gave the commendation on Friday, in a message celebrating the monarch’s participation in the 2025 Igoke Agba ceremony of the people of Oka Akoko.

He lauded the traditional ruler’s character and contributions, saying the Olubaka is “a monarch whose vision, integrity and service transcend generations and whose legacy will remain indelible in the annals of time.”

Ale highlighted the royal father’s “unwavering dedication, wisdom and statesmanship,” noting that Oba Adeleye’s leadership continues to inspire confidence, foster unity and promote development across his kingdom.

Recalling his tenure as Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas, the spokesperson said the traditional ruler “provided visionary leadership and left no stone unturned at ensuring that the voice of traditional institutions remained strong in shaping policies that promote peace, development and cultural identity in the Sunshine State.”

He also pointed to Oba Adeleye’s role as the pioneer Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, noting that the monarch laid “a solid foundation for the University’s rise as a beacon of learning and innovation.”

Ale described the Olubaka’s participation in the 2025 Igoke Agba ceremony on 29 November 2025 as a reaffirmation of his place as “a custodian of heritage and a symbol of resilience.”

According to him, the ceremony represents “the blending of tradition with progress,” and serves as a reminder that leadership is rooted not only in authority but also in “service, sacrifice and the preservation of values that bind communities together.”

He added that the monarch’s involvement in the event is deeply significant, stressing that “Olubaka historic participation is more than ceremonial,” and is instead “profoundly symbolic of continuity, wisdom and the enduring relevance of traditional leadership in modern society.”
