Insecurity: Zone 11 Police Command AIG gives criminals red card

The AIG of Zone 11 Police Command, Kayode Akande, has warned criminals in Oyo and Osun states to relocate from the zone.
He also warned criminals who live in other states but come to Oyo and Osun states to commit crime and run back, to desist from the act.

The police boss said that if they failed to comply with the warnings, they would face the full wrath of the law.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen by the Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 11 Command, Osogbo, CSP, Ayeni Benjamin.

Akande gave the warning during a briefing with newsmen after one a day Security Retreat with both Oyo and Osun States Commissioners of Police, Operations officers, Intelligent officers and Tactical Commanders at Zone 11 Command Headquarters Osogbo.

He disclosed that appropriate strategies had been put in place to tackle and curb all forms of crime and criminality in both states.

The states had now been mapped and segmented in a way that would enhance easy tracking and tackling of pockets of crime being perpetrated in some parts of the states.

He pleaded with people to always give prompt information to the police for proactive measures to track and tackle criminals.

The AIG assured of a continuous exercise to rid the states of criminals.

The security management team and officers expressed readiness to flush out criminals out of the states.
